The Rabbit Hole
Final Major Project
“The Rabbit Hole” is a comic book-inspired editorial piece I developed to highlight some of the dangers and consequences of becoming addicted to conspiracy theories. My project’s goal is to develop a comic book that uses humour and illustration to tell a story about the serious consequences of conspiracies and misinformation on my protagonist character. In my graphic novel, colour plays an important part in portraying the impact of disinformation on the main character. The increased use of red signifies an increase in false information that the protagonist believes to be true, as well as the lethal anxiety cycle that comes with conspiracy theories. This is visible in the protagonist’s relationships with the people and surroundings around him, with minor changes as the story progresses.

Nod fy mhrosiect yw datblygu llyfr comig sy’n defnyddio hiwmor a darlunio i adrodd stori am ganlyniadau difrifol cynllwynion a chamwybodaeth ar fy mhrif gymeriad. Encipher Life

Enchipher Life is a coding programme for girls that attempts to encourage creativity and participation via problem solving and digital interaction. The box includes a game that introduces girls to simple coding, augmented reality, problem solving, and much more. The box would be distributed to families or schools and would be a fun, unique way of educating young girls about a subject that is frequently portrayed as dull. One of the numerous ways I want to engage the target audience is through the joy of opening a new package. Implementing augmented reality playable characters, for example, provides a strong digital link between the game and the device. Scanning question cards are fun to use and a fantastic method to learn.
